Thanks for checking out my site! I’m Tim Miller, a professional botanist originally from Pennsylvania. After developing a love of plants as an undergrad at Colby College in Maine, I moved to California for the flowers. I earned a doctorate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in the spring of 2016 from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I currently live with my partner, Jenny, in Winston Salem, North Carolina and teach a field course through the UC called California Ecology and Conservation. In addition to plants, I’m passionate about birds, gall-forming insects, lichens, and salamanders. Also, dragonflies, nudibranchs, and chipmunks. Ooh, and crayfish, lizards, and weird rocks. I have looked through your blogs, I wish I had seen it before I embarked on my ramblings through CA I did love the flowers, and the bristle cone pines blew my mind. I am the editor of the New Zealkand Alpine Garden Society Bulletin, we are 400 wildly enthusiastic plant nerds. Is there a chance of some of your blog like material and your amazing photos, the smallest flower, the citrus relative with the glands, the marioposa lilies…
