Thanks for checking out my site! I’m Tim Miller, a professional botanist originally from Pennsylvania. After developing a love of botany as an undergrad at Colby College in Maine, I moved to California for the flowers. I earned a doctorate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in the spring of 2016 from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I currently teach botany, ecology, evolution, and natural history at California State University, Bakersfield.

  1. I have looked through your blogs, I wish I had seen it before I embarked on my ramblings through CA I did love the flowers, and the bristle cone pines blew my mind.
